🔋 AirDog R3SBD150 Raptor Fuel Lift Pump Review

Wow after years of luck with these pumps I broke a Raptor pump in November 2020 when it was about 2 years old. Replaced, and thus only about 300 miles, now it's the same. Bearing noises increase, pressure fluctuates. I'm trying not to drive until the new version arrives later this week. Hey AirDog, are you listening? One more and I'll go to FASS.

Mounted on the frame of my truck. I didn't adjust the pressure dial and at idle I get 25psi. The connectors supplied with the pump are of good quality. I had an older version of this 100gph pump and the mount is not quite compatible with this new one. I had to be creative to securely attach this frame like the old one. I see no reason to give less than 5 stars.

I bought this pump to replace the drpp2 barrel that came with my 02 Dogde Ram 2500 HO. So I don't know how old he is or how many kilometers he drove. But I drove about 20,000 km with it. Until I lost my brush but still gave me 10psi. Surprisingly, I made it home with a loaded trailer. But the Airdog 150 is much better. I used to see probably a difference of 8psi per wot with a face, now I'm seeing a drop of maybe 3psi. I also saw a slight increase in mileage and a noticeable increase in torque.

For an additional $30-$150 you get all the fuel needed to support the VP44 with an added programmer, upgraded air intakes and exhaust. In addition, a large line kit is supplied that connects directly to the VP44 injection pump. The Big!line kit costs 50.00 separately if you buy the Airdog 100. Easy installation in 30-40 minutes.
