Excellent Wireless Coverage for Clear Stream Quality

This wireless adapter was a lifesaver for my old TV that needed a boost in internet connectivity. The installation was easy, and the adapter has been working perfectly since the day I plugged it in. The adapter's range is great, and I can enjoy clear streaming quality from anywhere in my room. The adapter's size is small, so it's easy to carry around. The only downside is that I wish it had more advanced features, but it still gets the job done. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone

Pros
  • Easy to install and use.
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Great alternative

This is a great alternative to adding a wireless network to an old Mac PPC running OSX and Linux. Realtek RTL8187B driver

Pros
  • Ad Hoc Mode (802.11b Ad Hoc)
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Airlink 101 awll3026 works well on Linux and W2K

I've seen may differ from awll3028. Airlink 101 awll3026 installed easily and quickly on my Sempron Mobile 3200+ XUBUNTU 8.04 LTS Linux system using a GUI network setup tool. Installation was much easier than expected as there are native Linux drivers for this device. The base installation of XUBUNTU 8.04 required no additional software and required no command line input. It works well on my secure WEP-64(?) network, provides enough bandwidth for Youtube video streaming and smooth audio…

Pros
  • USB 2.0 interface (USB 1.1 compatible) 802.11g WPA2-PSK and WPA-PSK for extra security
Cons
  • I will add later
