worked right away

I added these Airties (AT&T branded) to an existing mesh network - working from home was taxing the network and interfering with zoom calls with my grandkids! I plugged in the ethernet where I wanted to install Airties - popped up immediately and gave me 5 bars instead of 2 before.

Is the WiFi signal improving at home

Works as described. Very easy to set up and use on an existing network. I have an AT&T BGW 210-700 router provided by AT&T and am using two of them. Since the installer put the router in a horrible place (basement at the back of the house) I use an extension in the basement on the other side of the house and another extension at the main flower in the middle. Everything seems to work much better now.

Signal range is at least twice the specification

Att Fixed Wi-Fi installed in a detached garage about 90 feet from home. Obviously, the 5286AC's performance at home was poor. I ordered 4921 as a booster. Easy pairing with ATT Uverse 5268AC which comes with Wi-Fi setup. Moved the 4921 into the house and showed solid green before it started blinking red/green, then solid green for a while, then blinking a red/green pattern. I have been showing full performance at home with PC and Ipad/phones and the speed has greatly improved. This light…

I couldn't extend the 2.4GHz signal or the guest channel. Setup seemed easy, but troubleshooting put the initial setup time to shame. 5G signal within 20 feet of the power strip was strong but dropped quickly; it was still better than the TP-Link extension it replaced. I found it took a long time to switch from the router to the power strip; I had to toggle Wi-Fi on and off on my device to switch instantly. Update: After about a week I found the grid was working as intended with almost no…

Works great in the Computers & Accessories category

I have used this amp and it works just like the others. This model was not available on the AT&T website. They still show the old model. I got my first one which came to my house to help with the poor speed I was having with my old AT&T modem. The old is obsolete. The new one was better, but I had dead spots in my house. He installed Airties 4921, which he says just got onto their service trucks. Installation went without problems. It connects to both GZ without any problems. It does not…

Limited Efficacy

I bought two AT&T Airties Air 4921 Smart Wi-Fi Extenders. I needed more wifi for a family of 5 adults working from home. I felt the solution was worth the extra cost because it integrated with my AT&T Wi-Fi gateway and offered mesh networking. Unfortunately, these extension cords are so flimsy that they are only effective in very small homes or apartments (1500 square feet). After several hours of trying to find a good spot for the extender, I settled on a very small improvement in Wi-Fi…

Surprised it actually works.

Brought this because the signal from my AT&T gateway couldn't send a signal from my room to my living room, making watching Netflix on my smart TV a pain. While my room and living room are only a hallway apart, there were many spaces and walls in between, which made the signal much more muffled. We set this up with Smart Home Manager and while it still took a while to set up via the app, we weren't sure everything was set up correctly until we decided to watch a movie, and we didn't have any…
