Superb Optics for Science Education

My analysis of this Industrial and Scientific product was a significant revelation. The optics quality was incredible, giving clear views and perfect magnification, and the quality build with sturdy materials made it an excellent choice for both educational and scientific purposes. The double convex bi-convex spherical lenses are versatile, making it easy to adjust to different angles and uses. On the downside, the user manual seemed a bit under detailed, which might pose difficulties for…

Invalid diameter.

For a project I ordered two lenses with a diameter of 50 mm and a focal length of 50 mm and two lenses with a diameter of 50 mm and a focal length of 150 mm. I prepared for the reception and processed the holders. When they arrived each was individually bubble wrapped with a size tag. I could see the envelope inside each bubble wrap. As I removed the bubble wrap and moved on to the envelopes, I discovered that what was labeled 50mm x 50mm was actually 38mm x 50mm. Wrong diameter! So my editing…

Item not as listed on packaging

The upsides of this lens are that it produces a sharp image, the level of distortion I would expect from a $3 lens, and it's made of glass. The edges can be sanded but are rough. Its diameter is 50 mm. The bad side of the lens is that ajax Scientific's QC idea is to just read a magazine while random lenses are mummified in two layers of bubble wrap and industrial-grade plastic tape so nobody can see the object inside. correspond to the information on the labels. The actual focal length of 100mm

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific

  • Out of date
