🌡️ Ajax Scientific Outdoor Thermometer: Accurate Temperature Readings Review

I needed a bread proofing thermometer. It's small enough not to get in the way, has passed the drop test more than once, and does what it's supposed to. I have a larger wall thermometer in my kitchen. Baking bread is better together.

Received earlier today. Let it warm up to room temperature for a few hours and at 70F it will be 62F. Put it in the garage and compare it to the garden thermostat, that's right, that read 55F, this one read 49F. Don't waste money.

Like some other commenters this thermometer fell apart when I received it - the glass tube glued to the metal backing came loose. No obvious damage in transit, just a poor cheap product. You get what you pay for I guess.
