Big numbers are its best feature, everything else is a trifle

It was a present and according to the recipient "too bright, too big, too many buttons". I would also like to add that the radio in our bedroom does not work well while our other clock radios work great and have good reception. So if you're looking for a watch with big numbers, this could be the one for you. But if you're just looking for a functional clock radio that doesn't take up too much space, keep looking.

Good enough for the price

My father wanted a new alarm clock with a large, easy-to-read display and radio function. This machine is a bit clunky, but still pretty easy to set up. The sound quality for the radio isn't the best, but it satisfies its needs for the occasional music/news/weather on the FM band. The display is amber - a lot more orange than red (it seemed redder on the listing, which he doesn't really care about) - and it's big, so pretty and easy to see without being so bright it glows. Regular desktop clock radio

Used on a desk so I can't tell how the alarm clock works. Very compact. Large clock display. As for radio, it gets two stations AM and NPR FM with traffic and weather here in the New York suburbs, so no complaints. The sound is what you would expect from a small speaker that is very basic. I had to look in the brochure to figure out some of the settings. The Time/Dim button sets the time when the radio is off and sets the display to low/high when the radio is on.
