AKG Perception Wireless Microphone System - Sports Set with SR45 Stationary Receiver, PT45 Pocket Transmitter, and C544L Headworn Microphone (3248X00010) Review

I teach a cardio kickboxing class and wear this wireless headset with microphone during class. Very clear and sticks in my head through all the hopping we do in class. Very nice for the price.

This wireless microphone is a great buy at an affordable price. I am a pastor and use it regularly at church and it works great. Great sound and easy to install THANK YOU I will buy again if needed

This is my second wireless microphone kit from AKG Sports. I'm a drummer and this mic setup is great for live performance! It's reasonably priced and delivers tight, clear sound quality. My last lasted over 5 years. Money well spent if you're on a tight budget.

It's extremely easy to use and would probably work well on a rock guitar. The analog nature of the transmission means there will be hiss when the source is muted. Electric guitars can probably handle it. This is not very good for acoustic instruments. I returned it.

Note that you must have access to a wall outlet (120VAC) to use the setup. The receiver requires power and does not drain the battery. Other than that, this is a great mic. Very safe on my head. Sounds fantastic. It has much, much better sound quality than cheaper mics. Worth the money if it's important to you.

Have been using a similar Shure product since August. It was too tight on my head, had a weak antenna, and didn't make an amazing sound. The AKG system is amazing! It fits comfortably on my head, has a powerful antenna and smaller power supply, and produces a live recording of my voice. I teach online every day so these are important features for me.

Sounds a little cleaner than the AKG WMS 40 mini, but doesn't necessarily cost nearly three times as much. It still has the same problem as the WMS 40 mini whose case is sensitive to knocking noises. I would only buy this if you really want more than 3 of these due to the number of channels available. If not, don't waste your money and get 3 WMS 40 mini. Also, you never know when the government will repurpose the tapes and render them unusable.

I used to have an old model of this mic from AKG so I was glad to buy this one. This one is much smaller and lighter and only uses a dual battery rather than two like the old model which used two. The mic is clean and had zero feedback when I tested it, speaking about 5 inches from a 15 inch horn speaker. The only problem is that there is no battery level indicator to show how low the battery is. So I was in the middle of a performance and the battery was dead. Very embarrassing. I hope AKG…

I am a mobile DJ and have been using the AKG Perception Wireless System live for many years. Eight possible channels with very reliable vocals and minor problems with dropouts or interference. Easy to set up and use. Uses only one AA battery and did a great job with a rechargeable battery! A moderate amount of hissing noise can be heard with this microphone during operation.
