Alaterre AWAA0320 Alpine Bench Natural Review

I just love the bench. It is very durable and the "living" edge is perfect. There are no assembly problems. I had to keep my husband away so I could do it.

Although the bench looks well assembled it does not come with the necessary hardware to assemble the bench. It arrived without hardware to connect the legs to the bench. In addition, black lacquered legs already show signs of rust.

We use it daily to put on our shoes. It's really beautiful. The tree is beautiful, so are the legs. Very simple and elegant design. If you sit too close to the edge and lean too far to put your shoes on, it can tip over, but getting that low is quite difficult for most people.

Bought for use in our new very compact cabin style home. In our interior, knotty pine looks very cool. It was easy to assemble. It is very convenient as a bench for putting on and taking off shoes by the door, and there is a place at the bottom for storing shoes. Worth the price.

I'm amazed at how good they are. They are made from a series of planks stapled together and machined to look like raw panels. While not a solid piece of wood, they are rock solid thick pieces of wood with lots of visual interest. They were packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition.
