Depends on your vehicle

I kept dropping things between the seat and console in my 2016 Honda CRV so I bought these. They were quite difficult to get into (less space than most cars I think) - and at the same time they didn't fill the space. I checked by dropping a coin and it fell right through. But it definitely helps with dropped phones and bigger things.

Does not fit my Subaru Forester

They are very hard. The gap on the passenger side allowed the bag to slide through and on the driver's side it was too big. If they were more flexible, maybe they could be adjusted. Foam fillers to conform to the product do not work very well due to the stiffness of the faux leather. If they fit in your car, they're good for a phone, notepad and pencil, or a small pack of tissues, but no more.

Love it ! - Trays and Bags

Great idea, I only have 2 cup holders in my car so you can't put anything, coupons, change, checks etc and it's very handy for keeping things tidy downstairs nothing to lose between the seats and the console. My car didn't fit the driver's side, too narrow, but I rarely have a passenger and even if I do, the dividers could be pulled out to allow the seat to expand. I suspect that some cars differ in the distance between the seat and the console.

It Was Enough - Trays & Bags

I thought I'd get something that would fit my side gap a little better, but I really needed the spacers that came with it. I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler 4Dr and I hated that those things went between the seats. They're thin so spacers are needed to make them fit better and the length is good but the depth is good too. I recommend if you measure your gap before purchasing any item it's worth noting. The spacers do slip into the item every once in a while, but I'm getting used to it.

It just needs the right configuration - unless you want to use it as a deflector

This narrow gap filler just needs the right configuration, width and depth to stay in place... with the open side up. In my case I was looking for a filler material not to put things in but to use as a deflector so things that might fall don't fall straight down. In my SUV, the seats are high and it would be very difficult to get small things out from under the electrically heated and ventilated seat. So I insert them upside down at an angle and push firmly against the seat belt anchorage…
