Very well made collar and beautiful, but not for a SMALL dog

The colors of the blue collar I received was stunning and woven not stamped like many others. I doubt it will ever go away. However, the collar is so strong that even though it would fit, it is not really suitable for a small dog. It's just too bulky for the martingale effect to work properly. Without a doubt, for a dog over 25 pounds, this is a great collar that will last and remain attractive.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • I don't really like it everything is fine

AOK works as expected, read the review.

AOK works as expected, as it should. Adjust size to slip over dog's head - no latch. The dog can't back down or pull out, the collar stays loose and comfortable, it tightens when the dog pulls so he can't back down or pull out, would be 5 stars but we keep using them short legged doxies and that Front leg sometimes gets caught in the adjustment loop. Not a collar to leave on all the time, but great for walking. We'll take off the collar when we get home.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Nothing here

Great collar for leash training

I bought my first of these collars from SPCA when we had our puppy and as she got older we realized she needed a new collar but it was very difficult taking it off afterwards is full of excitement. . However, it helped Leah a lot to train her and we added another one for our other hyperactive dog who doesn't do well on a leash. It's amazing and now I will always have it. I wish it was a bit wider for larger dogs, seems flimsy and worried it won't last long?

  • This is amazing

Good quality best for dogs

I just ordered this to replace another Alcott collar, the last one started to wear out after 3 years. My only issue was that I didn't realize it was a combo and not the traditional buckled collar I had before. It was all my fault for not reading the description carefully enough. It works well for my lab though and I don't see any risk of it slipping off. The quality of the new model is also very good, but the leash ring doesn't seem to be as strong as my previous collar.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Some issues

Soft, Comfortable, Reflective, Durable

So I've been wearing them on my pibbles for about 6 or 7 months now? Which is quite a long time for them, heh. They have faded a bit but are still very soft on the neck, they are still very strong (which is why I did NOT want the clasp - too much broken) and they are still reflective. . I always use martingale collars because my dogs have slipped out of traditional collars before and they hold up great without being too tight. But one of my dogs seems to get annoyed with all the collars and the
