Works beautifully

My cotton blanket ripped about 1/4 inch in one spot (by my cat's claws) and started falling off. I applied some of this product and pressed on the torn fabric as best I could (it will turn white so you can easily see where you put it). super easy. It dried perfectly. You can no longer see where the crack is. I didn't notice any smell either (I'm picky about chemicals). smells) I highly recommend this product.

You can also use Elmer's white glue; just as effective.

Aleens makes several formulas (glues). All I've used are good; this one, NOT. I was expecting it to be more like the Dritz Fray Check which is clear and applies easily to the raw edge of the fabric with no issues. Imagine using PVA glue on the cut edge. Now imagine having to smudge it with your finger because it comes out in drips. Come to think of it, Elmer's White Glue will work better than this stuff since Elmer's Glue comes out of the bottle in a controlled manner. This material claims to…

Awkward wait time and stickiness

Stops fraying well. It takes about an hour to dry completely, but I leave it on for a day to be sure. The only downside is that you have to wait 7-10 days before you can wash off what you used that antifreeze on. Update 6/6/20 - I no longer recommend this. I make many masks for sale. I used it on cotton that frayed to save time instead of overcasting the edges. It did the complete opposite. The problem is that it dries all day. Then when it dries it gets a bit sticky and sticks to the racks of…
