I would choose 3M or one of the brands. Actually, I ordered this by mistake and it's pretty bad. I use it to hang sheets of paper on the wall. This substance does not come off the paper easily, it will peel the paint off the wall and discolor the paint. I want something that leaves no residue and is easy to put on and take off.

I really liked this sticky playdough, especially for gluing the bottom of our hanging pictures (to keep them straight). Unfortunately I had to remove the frame and when I ripped it off the wall a nickel sized chunk of paint was ripped away exposing the drywall. Nothing good in the new house! So be careful when using it on walls, be as careful as possible when removing it.

Keep it handy and you'll find more uses for it than you can imagine. I use it to stabilize knick-knacks in a display case, hang artwork directly from a picture hook, temporarily fasten things, etc. It's also a must-have for college dorms and apartments where you need to minimize wall damage. Store the opened pack in a ziplock bag, otherwise it will dry out too much.

I bought this for diamond art. The glue included in the kit does not hold well and is not enough to complete the project. This product was suggested by an experienced diamond art enthusiast. It sticks better, but I'm not happy with the residue it leaves. I will update this review if I find a better alternative. It's better than what comes with the kit. So my rating is 4 instead of 5.

Will buy again and again. I use it instead of wax/clay that I get with 5D paintings. I was tired of struggling with regular clay to stay in the pen and constantly reapplying it to capture gems. This product lasts MUCH longer and will NOT come out on its own. It also leaves no marks on gemstones. I calculated my current 5D painting I'm working on.
