I have seen this product several times but never thought about it. I said it's cheap and won't work well. I was wrong. i love the product It has very good airflow. I use it in my hydroponic system. It gives a large amount of oxygen to the root zone.

The square edges keep the bubbler at the bottom of the tank. These are the best air vents of 2020. I've gotten a lot of these but I think I prefer the larger 8 inch stones. With the larger ones I only need two per bag but with these 4 per bag.

If you are using this rock for anything other than a fish tank, make sure it fits the container you are using. I use a manhole to aerate well water to get rid of hydrogen sulfide. The stone is large and the neck of the container must be large enough for the stone to enter. It will not fit in a standard 5 gallon water container like bottled water as the square plastic end pieces allow it to stay in the aquarium.

Not individually wrapped so one arrived broken in half so the other was broken .Seller: I can't find your contacts so I'm writing here. Please pack my spare parts individually before putting them in the box. Also, I want "new" stones, not the ones that were returned as they were probably broken as well. I don't know why it's so hard to find pond sized air stones. It seems that manufacturers have switched to plastic "diaphragm" bubblers, but they really don't suit me and therefore don't blow past the length of the diaphragm. These stones work well although the inlet size was small compared to my piping. I made them work by wrapping them with black tape. When I was in the pond, I immediately saw that the bubbles were getting smaller and the fish seemed to like them more. As you may know her idea
