Nice and well made

Works very well, with finer threads on the water box to make it easier to open. The only criticism is that the lid could have been firmer. It's easy to slam it while keeping the light open on the Bialetti. Otherwise a well-made mocha pot.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Some little things

Less than expected capacity

Beautiful and well made. However, the location of the pressure relief hole on the pot is lower than the old pot I replaced. Based on the size of this pot, it should be big enough for my needs, but due to the low-pressure drain valve, you won't be able to fill it with as much water as you think. So my old, smaller kettle actually gives me more coffee than this one.

Pros
  • Finished
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Pure joy to the breaking point.

I love this item. It's a beautiful design and I use it every day. Likes to sit on my stove. It doesn't have some of the problems I've had with Bialetti coffee pots in the past, it seals well and doesn't splatter. So after 2 months the bottom of the funnel that holds the coffee grounds broke so I can't use it anymore. I can't reach the seller. I can't find a replacement. Very disappointed.

  • Weight
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Works better than my big moka pot!

I wanted a smaller coffee maker so I could make espresso. I was surprised when this mocha pot worked better than the one I have. This is the basket that holds the coffee and has a larger diameter at the bottom of the funnel so it doesn't brew. I don't have to run water through the boiler to stop the brewing process. It only stops when I take the pot off the stove. It is also very easy to clean, simply rinsing with water. It's so easy to brew a cup in the morning.

Good design: coffee, tea and espresso

The biggest problem I keep encountering when using single cup moka kettles is the handle melting. This moka pot is well thought out with the handle pointing away from the pot rather than hugging it. Therefore, it tolerates heating on a gas stove very well. It uses excellent materials and makes a fantastic cup of espresso. The only downside is that the base is narrower than the photos so it doesn't fit as snugly on my gas stove, but that doesn't really bother me. The nose design is fantastic. I…

Replacement funnel best for coffee tea espresso

I am writing because several people have damaged the flimsy funnel and are unable to replace it. Cafeteria and place it in my new 3-cup cafeteria designed by Alessi Chipperfield. It fits very well, maybe not quite perfectly, but very, very close. Then I put the Alessi funnel on my old Bialetti. Again, this worked very well. I have NOT made coffee with reversible funnels. These are not ultra-precise items. I assume that Bialetti will work excellently with Alessi and vice versa. If you need to…
