If you need it for anything other than picking up excrement and having room for that shovel I wouldn't recommend it. But if you tick both boxes, buy this.

It's nice to get two for such a low price. I like that there is a place to put a shovel. The included scoop has smaller slots to allow the non-sticky litter to fall down slowly. I like this for picking up random clumps that have fallen apart. That should be great for a filler that doesn't clump. The holder is big enough that I can use it for my old shovel, which I prefer.

overall I think the set is well made, but it could be better. the plastic is thick and hard. I like that the holder stays upright so I can leave it on the floor. The scoop has a square, flat rim, is deep, and has holes on the sides to make sifting easier. The scoop is very small, some of the lumps are too big for it and the holes are a bit big so the small lumps just fall out.

It is a pleasure to pull the filling from the cage filling etc. into the bowl and throw it away. I wish it would work a little better with paper litter (it's not as soft as clumpy litter) but if you have a pet (ferret) in your room and want to get rid of it quickly. That's great. You probably won't need it, but it's very handy and since this is my second round of ferrets I knew what I wanted.
