I'm disappointed as it didn't work for me. Despite the reviews of others, he did not sift the cat litter. I use Boxicat and it has a pretty fine grain.

Overall a good quality shovel. I use pretty litter filler and the slots on the scoop are too small for the filler to go through on its own. So don't buy this if you use Pretty Litter.

I bought this to remove small particles in the cat litter. Works poorly with sifting lumpy clay. I wrote another review that mentioned it's great for this purpose, but it didn't work for me.

This dustpan is *exactly* what I was looking for. Almost all dustpans have too much space between the dustpan's plastic grate. Any small chunks of lumps are left behind. This shovel easily screens out all small used filler particles and prolongs their service life.

The problem with most scoops like this one is that the holes are too big for a standard litter box, so the small pieces of poo in the litter box go right through the scoop and become a problem. but the holes on this bucket are smaller, and that is rare. I used Tidy Cats litter, which is the same litter size as most cats. The problem with this shovel is that the holes are too small for standard fillers and clean fillers won't go through at all.
