My husband loves bubble tea and I hate plastic waste. So I told him that instead of disposable straws I would buy him some glass straws and wash them for him. Not sure if they are dishwasher safe or not but it seems to work fine for us. He loves them for bubble tea and root bear smoothies and floats so we might have to order more soon.

I've never bought glass straws so I didn't know what to expect but I absolutely love these glass straws. They're perfect for drinking, smooth and heavy enough that I'm not worried about them breaking in my mouth. The little brush they give you is also very well made! I bought these Boba/Glass smoothie straws to easily drink bubble tea and smoothies. So far I've only tried it with my bubble tea and it worked really well! The brush they attach to it makes it very easy to clean. These straws are wider than regular straws so they don't fit the hole in the lid of my Tervis glass, so I can't cover my drink. Boba Large Glass Straws are great for smoothies. That's why I wanted her. They are easy to clean with running water and the straw cleaning brush provided. I really like these straws. They are the right length and size for a 16/20 oz bubble tea. Very easy to clean with a brush. I bought them with a friend in mind but when they arrived I decided to try them as they are really hard and I had the idea to using a glass straw for milkshakes. it would be great.
