Everything about this set is fantastic and amazing and as easy to understand as it is to use. But. If you're going to attach it to a wooden frame, which is nice and strong and sturdy, you'll need to pre-drill holes for it. The screws are high quality and have an excellent grip, but this creates torque and will cause the screw head to break off. Go slow, make sure it's what you need, then install and enjoy.

I have used several brands of these magnetic doorstops. I prefer this one for two reasons: it's well styled, with very little visible bare metal, and the mechanical fasteners (screws in my case) hold up much better than the glue used on other brands. Yes, other brands have additional screw mounts, but these are hidden in this design. Installation is a little more labor intensive than gluing, but it stays in place.

Very durable. The magnet is probably too strong. You have to drill. Aligning the stop on the wall with the stop on the door is really painful. But I've found that if you put some ink on the doorstop and then press it against the wall, you can achieve perfect alignment. These stops are a lot bigger than you think. That's why they look a bit too big. But hey, you only notice it at first, and then you don't notice it anymore. I made four doors. Two doors, the magnet is too strong. Two is perfect.
