We really have to remove the photo. This is a scarf, not a shawl. It's nice but not what I expected. I usually read reviews before buying, but I didn't this time. I really hope the company replaces the pics because it's a bait and switch tactic

This item does not match the image. The size is much smaller and more like a rectangular scarf that can be worn on the shoulders or arms. It doesn't feel like a lavish image to wear as a cover-up or over all the black clothing underneath. The reality looks cheap, small and, if at all, only serves as an accessory.

This cape is very beautiful. It had a very strong chemical odor which my husband smelled when I opened it and he was sitting 8ft from me. I left it for a few days but it still smelled so I sent it back. One thing I do to remove odors from a fabric is spray it lightly with water and something like fever, then toss it in the dryer. It is made of cords and will not survive the dryer.

Scarf if really nice but a little lighter blue (almost electric blue) than in the picture. It had a musty smell so I soaked it in some nice smelling shampoo and water, rinsed it out and hung it on a hanger in the bathroom to dry. The smell is gone but it still looks nice. Another thing is that he seems to just beautifully envelop a pretty little woman or a 12-year-old girl. Kind of short. The painting looks like it's hanging down quite a bit. The rest is OK.

The product looked NOTHING like the picture. She laboriously covered her shoulders. The glitter started falling off before I even took it out of the box. They fell to the ground the more I moved with them. If you have PETS, make sure you pick them up immediately as they can KILL a pet or child if eaten. The bangs were thin and not as nice and full as in the picture. Seriously, don't buy this. Got it for a dinner party, had to think of something else at the last minute. bad buy.

Although the scarf was not as wide as shown here, it was very beautiful, eye-catching and delicate. A few years ago I bought some oriental fabric fans from Revain to take home (because I get hot very quickly). I bought light for every day and black backgrounds with sequins of different colors for outfits. (blue, red, gold and multicolored). After reading the initial reviews from others who had purchased this 'scarf' I had little expectation of the actual size. Measurements are length and width, but most people order based on how the product looks in the photos. The photos give the impression that this scarf covers you from shoulders to wrists and covers your back completely. But it's not - it's really more of a wide scarf. It falls about halfway down the shoulder and halfway down the back. It does not provide the full coverage…
