After reading the initial reviews from others who had purchased this 'scarf' I had little expectation of the actual size. Measurements are length and width, but most people order based on how the product looks in the photos. The photos give the impression that this scarf covers you from shoulders to wrists and covers your back completely. But it's not - it's really more of a wide scarf. It falls about halfway down the shoulder and halfway down the back. It does not provide the full coverage shown in the first photo where a person is wearing it. On the plus side, however, it's quite cute and the sequin work is aptly shown off with a peacock pattern and shell detailing around the edges. Overall happy with it for the price and what I need it for - to wear to a Great Gatsby themed costume party.
