Great quality product made in the USA. Of course reception will drop with a shorter antenna but it wasn't too bad for me and I have it on both my F150 and my wife's Ford Escape.

I bought this item so I don't have to unscrew the original antenna when I put the car cover on my car. What a waste of time and money I could hardly get and listen to a local radio station somewhere out of town, there would be nothing but hiss, the roar of the engine was the furthest he could hear.

I received my small antenna for my 2010 FJ Cruiser today and I love it. It works great, looks great and best of all I don't have to take it off every time I drive through a car wash. I live in an area where cell phone reception isn't great so I was in a hurry to get an antenna that short. It's only 6 inches and works great.

I have to say you REALLY get what you pay for. This replaced my 32" jeep antenna which worked pretty well when receiving distant stations. Obviously, a smaller antenna won't pick up stations either, unless you live close to the radio station you want to listen to. decide how often you actually listen to the radio and how far away are the stations you actually want to listen to. so good.

I was hesitant to order this antenna after reading another review, I live out of town and was concerned I would be listening to the radio while driving couldn't take off.
