🚲 Allen Sports Premier S303: The Ultimate Spare Tire Bike Rack for 3 Bikes Review

Item received as promised. Installed it on my Jeep Wrangler same day, loaded 3 adult mountain bikes and drove 100 miles with no problems. Decided to buy a "Premier" rack after reading reviews that the standard rail rests on the rim instead of the tire. This rack fits the tire. Would give it 5 stars but it's a little squinting but barely noticeable and it didn't affect performance in any way. Would buy again.

Bought this rack for my 2009 Jeep Wrangler JKU and it fits perfectly. The top bar runs under the tire mounted brake light, with the center supports resting on the underside of the spare wheel and the lower straps running under the spare wheel and in the tailgate. The bottom straps have hooks and I attached them to the vents on the tailgate. After I attached the tie down straps to the tailgate, it was easy to secure everything with the strap tensioner. It's my fault we didn't try to use it until yesterday even though we bought it last year. None of our mountain bikes fit on it (26" and 29" wheels, Eurobike mountain bikes). The distance between the two arms is too big and does not fit the bike frame. A complete waste of money but again my fault I didn't use it until yesterday as my return window had expired. However, the specs on the site and the specs on our bikes show it SHOULD work. The trunk is otherwise well made, but I can't tell if it's

Do not buy! I have a 2006 Honda CRV and we tested it on two bikes. The levers on top (hanging from the top of the spare tire) are fairly short. We made a very slow turn out of the garage and the whole rack popped out immediately. We thought we might have attached it wrong so we tried again by tightening everything. I drove straight ahead on the road. He then tested it in an empty parking lot, overcoming several speed bumps in the process. I drove over bumps at 10 km/h and the strut popped out…

This bike rack is great, I have a jeep with oversized tires (315/70r17) and it fits my spare tire well, it's firm, strong and when it's attached to the underside of the tailgate it moves not space. Everyone. The only thing I do besides the two straps below is thread the cam strap through the tire holder and around the bikes to keep the handlebars from swaying in the wind.
