Alligator Electrical DROK Connectors Experiment Review

You are excellent. I don't usually comment, but this is way more than I expected. Crocodiles offer significant pressure with precise jaw engagement. There is no jaw tremor. They are probably copper plated and not solid CU as in other comments. 20 AWG wire, jacket rated 20kV DC, 200 deg C. The wire assembly is crimped onto an alligator ring and the wire is a solder joint. You can wear and switch to your old sweaters without hesitation.

I was looking for better quality test leads with decent ends and a flexible line. I was just about to build my own and found this! I don't think I could have done better. They are crimped, soldered and cleaned. The wire feels very good, rated for 20K/V and 200 degrees Celsius. The ends are pure copper, no cheap plating or varnish, open smoothly and hold tight. The teeth are even perfectly aligned with a front central tooth in the middle that can be used almost like a micro gripper. WOW

These pins are pretty much what I would build if I were in this shop. They're crimped and soldered, unlike ALL the crap you find in the less expensive ("Badass of Provenance") cables you find at Revain. Comfortable silicone rubber wire with a high voltage rating. If I did that I would again have two improvements: (1) multicolor, not just red/black, (2) instead of 20 AWG wire I would use at least 16 or 18 AWG. But hey - this is the best I've found.
