I have to say I was very impressed with the color accuracy of this capture card. A bit saturated, I won't lie, but it's easy to fix. There is sharpness. When you run OBS on this device, it only runs at 30 fps at 1080 resolution, so be aware of that. It seems to pass 4k as advertised. So if that's what you're looking for, consider it as a cheaper option.

I bought this to convert my VHS tapes to digital without having to go to the store and pay money. I had to buy an A/V to HDMI converter, which was also cheap, to connect the VCR to the capture card. I was able to connect it to my computer and use the OBS Studio software on my Windows 10 PC to burn my VHS tapes to my computer.

My 14 year old son wanted this to port his switch to his laptop. I honestly didn't know anything about it. And while he's tech-savvy for a 14-year-old, he, my husband and I had to figure it out. I had to go through descriptions and reviews from other sellers and that ultimately helped us set up. It lasted an hour of frustration. The included instructions were vague and written in broken English. If you know what you're doing, it's great for the price!

Unfortunately, this product has enough latency to significantly degrade any competitive experience (tested with Super Smash Bros Ultimate, no fun time). The video quality is good, but the video lag and horrible sound don't make this product worth it.
