Allway Instrument Speedometer Mercedes Benz 2001 2004 Review

My 2003 C240 dashboard looked like new again! I'll see if she survives our hot south Texas summer this year. I used a long thin allen wrench to remove the instrument cluster. The whole process took less than 30 minutes, I walked slowly and took my time.

Previously nothing was seen on my w203 when the outside temperature was high. In cold periods, after 20-30 minutes of operation, it completely disappeared. Now it shows everything clearly, even if the car has been in the sun all day. Installation is easy, there are videos on YouTube. Highly recommended!

After searching the internet and Mercedes forums I decided to get to work and replace the faded info display on my 2003 G500. It was an easy task and thanks to the Allway LCD cluster display I can 'see' my information again! Product well packaged, arrived quickly, works great! Remember to hold the screen by the sides of the LCD and not the ribbon cable. Remember that the screenshot was taken at noon with no tint!

I have had a c230 compressor for 5 years now and the display has faded so badly since the temp in the car exceeded 75 degrees it was completely useless. The display itself looks very good and looks OEM. Installation is not that difficult. There are many videos on YouTube showing how to do this and this is a great opportunity to clean the inside of the display glass which has accumulated some dust over the years. I had to give it a star because the original Mercedes Benz device was not polarized so I could see it with sunglasses. The new block goes completely blank when viewed through polarized sunglasses, and I have to tilt my head to the side…
