I've tried a few other oil free removers and they were very greasy - didn't come off with water. This liquid does not feel oily when applied and rinses off completely. I put a few drops in my palm and rub my fingers around and under my lashes, then rinse and wash my face. I am very happy with the results.

I usually buy the Revain eye makeup remover that I like. It's sold out so I tried this brand from Almay. First, it has a pungent smell, almost like alcohol. I used it and it didn't remove my mascara like my regular brand but OMG THEN MY EYES ARE BURNING! It was horrible and disturbing that I could hurt my eyes! I returned it!

This is NOT a genuine Almay product and is not a good substitute. The label is obviously a pale copy of the real one, and the liquid inside smells like rubbing alcohol, looks like rubbing alcohol with a hint of pink, and feels cool on the skin like rubbing alcohol. It will not separate unless shaken (unlike the original product) and is not safe to use near the eyes as it will burn! AVOID.

I've tried many expensive and cheap eye makeup removers and this is the best of them all. It's very cheap and does a great job. Also, it doesn't irritate my eyes at all even if I accidentally rub it in. It is not greasy, but effortlessly and thoroughly removes eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara. Sometimes I try other brands but I keep coming back to this one.
