I wanted a bonnet for when I'm too lazy to braid my afro hair after it's been twisted or braided. My only complaint, even though it's a double coat, when I apply oils to my hair the oils bleed from the cap to the outer layer so there are now oil stains on it. My goodness. But that doesn't really matter because at least my pillowcases haven't been damaged...yet.

Love, love, love! I have 3 of these satin caps. Although they are expensive, they are worth every penny. I have 2 for long hair and 1 for short! They wash well and don't spread on pillowcases. Get one, you won't be disappointed! Plus, they all arrived quickly!

Hole circumference at zero stretch 19 inches while sleeping. My head circumference is 23 inches so it was too tight. I'm white, I have very thick long hair that reaches my armpits and I felt like I was missing the length. My measurements are from the top hairline down the forehead up to 30" long. Also, don't get the color name mixed up for this. It's a rose gold color. Without a doubt. It's also a 100% polyester double layer which wasn't listed in the description I would really like to know.The

This satin hat is everything. Before that I only had one which I thought was a two face satin but it wasn't. This hat is made of double faced satin. It stays on while I sleep (I move around a lot) and it's pretty roomy. I have short hair but wanted some room once it grew out. I'm usually skeptical of Squeal reviews, but guuuur trust me. this hood ITTTT. I have green! Buy it. you will love

I received this in green. I opened it and put it on my hair to fall asleep. I didn't get up until an hour later to find the color of the hat CRAZY mixed into my white pillows. Wash it first! Ugh I hope that color comes from the pillowcase but it's quite dark. I apply a small amount of oil to the ends of the hair and put a cap on. Plus it's really handy... but there's no dye transfer warning or instructions saying you have to wash it first.

I bought two different hats from Amazon and both were smooth on the outside and rough on the inside. This is smooth on both sides. Another issue I've had with others is they wouldn't stay on my head when I slept, this one stands up but isn't too tight. I like wearing a hood behind my ears and I think I should mention that this hood is not for you if you like wearing it in front of your ears. I got it in white because some reviews said it bleeds and that's not a problem for me.
