Fits perfectly in my cup holder, still has space. I don't like gluing things to air vents. I drive a Honda Fit so it's a small car. Loved the floral decor on the front. Can be easily filled into a garbage bag. The blue light still works. I think the light is solar powered because the square on the lid looks like a solar panel. Great price for quality.

Children only open 90%, which means you keep pressing it with your finger or knuckles. The use of the front center vents means they interfere with any controls you might need for the radio, bluetooth, heating/air conditioning etc. Using the door vent interferes with the doorknob and makes it difficult to use the steering wheel. Every time I turned a corner, the knuckles of my left hand would bang against it. I ended up buying something else and throwing that one away.

I don't know what I've ever done without these ashtrays. I have one on the driver's side and one on the passenger's side. Best of all, you don't really have to take your eyes off the road to smoke a cigarette, as the ashtray is right next to the steering wheel. These are very attractive ashtrays that complement my car's chrome interior. Also, you have a little blue LED at night so you can see where to shake off the ashes at night. Some of the things I don't like are product defects, some just aren't compatible with my particular car. I have a Honda Pilot and haven't found a good way to mount it in an air vent that isn't in the way or in an awkward position. I also expected the lid to open with a button rather than manually, which isn't great if it's in an awkward spot. I tried several types before I found this one. I didn't buy it for vent holders. I live in OK and you are NOT blocking the valuable AC here. It sits well in the cup holder. It has 2 snuffs so you don't have to wait for the passengers to get out before you can take yours out. It's a decent height, the top is fitted and the sides are straight so you don't have to pull it out of the cup holder just for the top to pop out on you.
