Worked fine when connected to a non original radio. A speaker stopped working when connected to a 4-channel amplifier. Not sure why. could be defective

These speakers sound fantastic. I don't have an amp now and the bass still hits really hard, it's worth it. Can't wait to install the amp and ramp up the power.

Was really unhappy with one of the posts. It supports 1 inch tweeter to speaker main body. And not keeping the tweeter centered where it should have been. I had to take and glue the post after a small change, everything is fine.

It's not that they're bad, I honestly don't hear any real improvement over the Infinity 4x6 I replaced. Also, I boosted the metal mesh screens during installation. It's ok, just order new screens. NO. Alpine does not sell them separately. They sell R screens for other speakers but not 6x9. I will NOT buy Alpine products again.

Normally I would have been happy with this "upgrade" but this version has changed the cone and tweeter materials and they don't sound nearly as good as my SPR-69. I wanted to replace my broken SPR-69 with a speaker made from the same material to fit all my speakers and keep the phenomenal sound, but as they were the main speakers in the front doors of my truck they fell a bit short. The speakers sounded great while running. I installed them in less than three months and the tweeters on them blew up. I set everything up according to the manufacturer's instructions. Worst of all, the Asurion protection plan that came with these speakers at the time of purchase was the wrong plan and I can even use the plan to cover these speakers. I hate wasting money and the fact that Amazon automatically filled out the wrong protection plan has now cost me the cost of the insurance plan…
