Not Worth the Money

After I put it to the test during a rocky terrain drive, I was disappointed to see that there was absolutely no protection provided.

Pros
  • Looks sleek and is comfortable
Cons
  • Provides little to no protection

Alpinestars does not provide support for this

The protector itself is very thin and light. Upper back coverage is minimal and leaves a lot to be desired. Straps help secure with a branded buckle. This is normal unless something happens to the belt. A-Stars will not sell or offer replacement straps.

Pros
  • . The ergonomic skid plate follows the natural curve of your back for optimal adjustment while riding.
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Straps Won't Stay in Place

The shoulder straps are disappointing. The straps snap into pockets to keep them in place, but they also easily pull out of those pockets, which is very annoying. I wear this product under my jacket. When I take off my jacket there is a 50% chance that the belt will fall off my shoulder. If it weren't for the waist belt that holds this product, it would slide around all over the place. I also have to regularly adjust the length of the shoulder strap because the buckle doesn't stay in the rightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New head layer constructed from a disposable mesh structure with an ergonomic design that absorbs shock and maximizes breathability and airflow.
Cons
  • Some small things
