Turns projects into one man jobs

This is awesome. Yes, it's more expensive than cement, as other reviewers have pointed out. However, the time savings and ease of use are definitely worth it. I'm sitting here admiring my new mailbox in an hour, where I would otherwise have waited half a day. This product easily transforms the work of two people into the work of one. It is very easy to use (just follow the instructions) and cures within 20 minutes. I gave mine a few extra minutes to be on the safe side but was amazed at howโ€ฆ

Pros
  • No messy cement mixing
Cons
  • Vendor communication

Good product but your math is up.

I have been in the construction industry for almost 20 years and love trying new/innovative products. I am giving this 2 stars because the manufacturer has WAY overestimated the performance of their product when technically the product actually works. I used this to put my personal mailbox (nothing notable about the placement) which is 4 x 8 (reusing an existing post) in a 9" diameter x 24" deep hole. The product table says "1 bag required" for a 6x6 rack hole that is 10" diameter and 36" deep.

Pros
  • For 5" x 5" racks | Use 1-26 oz. Pocket for post hole | The hole should be 36 inches deep and 8 inches in diameter.
Cons
  • Not the best

Insanely good stuff! Building Materials

There's a direct hit on my mailbox. My most recent new install was with a self digging post that needed concrete for stability. With the small amount I needed, I had to lug 9 pounds of concrete mix and pour it into my garage. I finally got rid of it. Then my mailbox got hacked again and I couldn't stand the thought of buying another bag of "Barriere" and that's how I found this beauty. It's very responsive in warm weather, so you'd better get your post right. It doesn't "flow" like I thought it

Pros
  • The same advanced technology that has been used to install utility poles for nearly 15 years
Cons
  • Speed of operation

It is great. I give 4 stars because it is.

This stuff is great. I give 4 stars because it's too expensive. I remember when it was $11 a bag and I thought it was overpriced. I used it 7 years ago to put up an 8 foot vinyl fence. It held up well even in strong winds. It was expensive, but quick 2K's allowed me to quickly erect this fence myself without straining my back with heavy bags of concrete. I like the fact that it was very forgiving. I posted a post in the wrong place; It was so easy to dig. TIPS:: 1. When I was digging my holesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • No water required | For use with wood, vinyl, or metal stands
Cons
  • No auto
