I've been wearing shoes for 9 weeks now and the tread is falling off. I wear them to work 3 days a week. I weigh 145 pounds. They're not exactly overused, I really feel like they should last longer.

When I received them I knew the tongue could be an issue as others have pointed out, but with socks on I don't feel it at all. I run, walk and work in these shoes and love them. I really like the wide toe box and soft feel. They are very soft. Like wearing my loafers! That's why I bought them in the first place. I have Morton's Neuroma and these shoes seem to ease the pain. My main issue with them is that I see the mesh material doesn't last very long. I'll give an update on that later.

I've been wearing Torins for many years and even run marathons in them. On this new pair, they've replaced the soft foam tongue with something like sharp cardboard covered in sandpaper. After I ran a mile, he rubbed the front of my ankle. Maybe it's a saving on this new version of the shoe, but I can't wear it. Disappointing.

The most comfortable shoes. These are running shoes but for standing all day and walking a lot to work they are superior to any shoe I have tried in terms of comfort. 100% will buy these again

Two training runs and a half marathon. The rails wore out very quickly and one of them came off. If you can't afford to replace your shoes after a month, avoid them.

It is very comfortable. Not my favorite piece of clothing for the gym but they are great for walking, running or just hanging out. I ordered half a size smaller and they fit perfectly.

I bought a pair from the Altra outlet store and they are the most comfortable show I have ever had in my life. I liked them so much I looked for another pair and found them at Revain for the same price. I'm tempted to buy another pair. I'm older, have wide feet and walk every day. They have a good toe box and a nice thick, resilient sole (older feet lose fat in the sole, and thin-soled shoes hurt on hard surfaces). The arch support sits in the right place under my foot unlike any other brand. I

These shoes fit as expected. They're comfortable once you get used to the smaller heel-to-toe hop. They make me run very fast.

I have owned dozens of Altras over the years and almost every model they make. This was my first try at the Torin 5. The white pair were very comfortable, but to the point that they felt flimsy, like slippers. Not sure if it will hold up. Felt pretty cheap. White's second pair seemed a bit sturdier, but also cheap.
