The bags are shorter and thinner than the regular 55 gallon bags I bought from a home storage facility. If you plan to use them in a drum or large trash can, they fall in easily. Also, do not put objects with sharp corners in it. Items will tear the pages.

These are not actually 55 gallon bags. The picture above left shows a 50 gallon bag that you can get anywhere. The one on the right comes from a box that doesn't even list the size. I will not fill the larger Rubbermaid trash can. Maybe it's ok for a small trash can to rake up the leaves. I had to wait a month to receive them. They won't work for my tall jar or be ready for a hurricane clean.

I usually buy 55 gallon 3 mil bags from contractors but in many cases the thickness is unnecessary and 3 mil is a little expensive; especially the 55 gallons I need because of the containers I use them in (42 gallons isn't wide enough). Well, the bags aren't much thicker than regular hefty sod bags, which weigh only 1.03 mils, but it's hard to say I don't have a micrometer to measure thickness. However, I can say it's not 55 gallons, I have a lot of 55 gallon bags and I've stacked them on top…
