The adhesive on the back of these metal pieces is very strong and the price was good. However, they broke in half in the masks I made. Use them on the mask's outer fabric and replace with each use instead of sewing them on for permanent use. I had to open up some of the masks and pull out these pieces of metal and then sew the masks back on.

I gave them away to colleagues whose masks don't fit. Glued to the upper front, they can be pressed to make the mask fit snugly on the face. I sew my masks, glue these two sticky sides together and sew them to the pocket at the top of the mask. My masks hold so tight my glasses never fog up! We've just swapped them out in the masks we've been wearing and washing since last March - almost a year of daily wear/washing and tumble drying causes them to warp too much, but a year's work is great!

These wires were used to insert masks between layers of fabric. I made about a hundred masks from these wires. I figured the length and width would be a good size for masks with an adhesive backing, plus to hold them in place. But the glue is not strong enough to stop the wire from moving. I managed to get it out from under the fabric to adjust the wire before sewing. After that, I could still carry it in my pocket.
