Very nice glaze colors

I like how it looks after firing. It's not just a solid blue depending on how you paint it onto the piece. I also see green casts. I would buy more flowers from this seller.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Weight

Brown. Not blue.: glazes

I must have come across a bad batch or something. It smelled bad the whole time I applied it, but I didn't think anything of it. The dark brown pieces came out after I applied 4 coats of Blue Rutile and fired a 5 cone. I am very disappointed as I loved this glaze.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

My Favorite Frosting

The first time I used this frosting I didn't read the instructions and only applied two coats. I was disappointed. Then I read the directions and applied 4 thick coats and ended up with 5 or 6. This is the most beautiful frosting ever. Topping it with oatmeal frosting makes it even more spectacular.

Pros
  • Splashproof
Cons
  • Boring Packaging

Amazing frosting. in glaze

This is my favorite series of Amaco pottery glazes. It is absolutely gorgeous on its own and applied over and under other glazes. I combined it with frosting, which I mix myself with great success. It is very popular in my pottery workshop with my students, it was the first pottery glaze bottle I had to refill. I've had some pinhole issues with PC frosting, but I haven't had that issue with this one yet, at least not with the application itself.

Pros
  • dish safe
Cons
  • I'll write later

Very nice blue, just apply a thick layer

Hi, I didn't like the frosting at first, then it turns out I didn't apply it thick enough. I was gifted a gallon of this drink so I wanted to find out how to use it. It's such a beautiful blue, and the brown tones show up in areas that aren't as densely covered. The edges of the bowls would be hard to keep blue, but to me the brown and blue is just so pretty. If you look at my photos, the small bowl was a very dark brown tone, the others were lighter tone, which affects the result. I've tried…

Pros
  • Meets ASTM D-4236
Cons
  • Fades
