Very nice candles. With a timer setting, they turn on at the same time every night. They're on the front steps of my house. Very nice at night.

Timer works well, brightness is good. I recommend using them outdoors as they look "plasticky" up close (compared to my other flameless candles). I put mine in a lantern and they look amazing. 4 stars.

Control switch in battery compartment making on/off/timer functions inconvenient. The lid is not easy to put back on. For 30€ I expected a lot more. Don't plan on returning them unless they fail within a month but I wouldn't reorder or strongly recommend this particular product which appears to be more suitable for indoor than outdoor use and has a cheap build.

It was expensive and I expected it to last a while. A candle broke after a month of use. Each candle has two lights inside. One lights the flame and the other lights the pillar candle. Part of the rod broke within 30 days. It's like having a very expensive tealight now. Not happy at all. I don't want to go through the exchange process. What royal pain!

Worked well for 9 months but then some water got in and ruined it. They were on a covered porch and in a cup holder, so pretty well protected, but not in a totally dry place. Wind and showers will bring some water to the area. They don't hold up and the money spent is better spent elsewhere. For what they do and what they are, the lack of durability means they have to be less than half the price.

I ordered these large pillar candles for an outdoor area that gets a lot of summer sun and heat. The wax candle melted in the lantern I bought these candles for. The candles are beautiful and look real. What's even better, after 7 months, one of my candles stopped working. Somehow water got into the battery compartment even though it was under the canopy. They are big - a good size to fill big/tall lights. They're plastic, not wax, so they won't melt if left outside. The plastic is white, not very thick. In broad daylight you can see that they are hollow and some kind of plastic fake. Making the plastic creamier might help them look a little more realistic in daylight.
