🔪 Precision Performance: Amana Carbide Tipped Straight Plunge Router Bit Review

This router bit is game-changing. Based on our own experience, the Amana Carbide Tipped Straight Plunge produces meticulous results in routing. The bit runs with such accuracy that it cuts through any hardwoods with ease, and results in clean finishes every time. The only downside is that it's a bit expensive compared to some other router bits. Nonetheless, for reliable, high-quality cutting ability, it's worth the price.

Bought some birch plywood for making shelves and wanted to make some dados. I was surprised that the plywood wasn't 3/4" but metric. This bit was perfect!

Bit looks quite high quality. I've made .375 inch deep cuts in one pass (probably 50 or more) and it cut through the last one just as well as the first. The width is just right. My 18mm (0.705 inch) plywood fits snugly in the grooves. About half the price of a comparable Freud tip and I am happy with my purchase. I will buy again.
