Very clean cuts in maple and birch plywood. I've had a hard time with red oak plywood, but I've never found a piece that doesn't split the red oak plywood at least a little. My CNC went off course the other day and this bit broke, a reminder that even expensive bits need to be treated with care. 4 stars instead of 5 because I don't think it's much better than almost half the price.
Waste of money. Absolute rubbish. Look elsewhere because this piece of metal is the most expensive piece of metal you will ever spend money on. The first one I bought broke so I figured I might have pressed it too hard and adjusted it. I said ok I'll be very conservative and take it easy, the second one broke even after limited use. So I said forget it and bought FIVE Chinese bits for a third of the price and they worked great. I figured, hell, let's give the old American Aman a third chanceโฆ
