These are very good quality shorts for the money. I don't think I read that they are free. They are a bit big. You are pretty free. I use them indoors to work outside. They are also very comfortable for sleeping. If in doubt about the size, choose smaller. I weigh 250 and 2x was too big. The shorts are good though.

I love the fit of these shorts. I'm a big fan of the mesh shorts for working out and lounging. I bought Champion Mesh Long Shorts a long time ago and became a favorite when I was able to pick them up for less than $15. This is a great replacement! I would say they are slightly larger than Champion Men's mesh shorts, but that's not enough to make the size down.

I really wanted to like these shorts. However, the combination of weak elasticity and string slippage poses a problem. To me, they just don't stay where you put them. Above the waist, below the waist, at the waist. does not matter. For me they just don't hold onto my feet and any weight in my bag (car keys, travel purse) makes the shorts push towards my knees. I'll admit I don't have a lot of "butt" but I don't have this problem with other shorts.

I prefer these shorts for lounging around the house over cotton shorts because they seem a bit more durable, don't get dirty and are breathable.
