When connecting the controller to the base station, you may have to wiggle the controller so that the contacts touch so that the controller is charged. The base station seems solid, but the pin that connects the controllers feels cheap and crappy.

Connected to multiple devices and USB outlets, not working. Only worked when connected to a switch dock with a switch in the dock. Even then he was very finicky and had to shake something to make it work properly. Overall it seems cheap and it's a lot more than I expected.

So far this docking station works perfectly. I like it a lot more than the one with the all metal frame. The performance specifications at the bottom are somewhat misleading. I would guess it would require a 3.0A power supply, which is almost unheard of and certainly not what the ports on the switch dock put out. I plugged it into a very basic USB extension port, presumably the standard 500mA one, and it charges just fine.

This product is a lifesaver! It's so convenient to charge all (four) of our Joy-Cons at once. It also charges them quickly and has status lights (red for charging, green for charging). Worked great initially but eventually it started to work and the joysticks wouldn't charge until I unplugged and plugged it back in. Then it would take more than a disconnect/reconnect to get it working again and finally it doesn't work at all now. Everything was fine while it worked, although I think the layout could be more compact, so I won't be repurchasing this model. I'll take the ones with the joycons in pairs instead because I find they're a bit smaller overall.

RevainBasics, back to that with another durable Switch accessory. The device feels very solid and the rubber feet definitely help the charging station stay where you want it. I have two sets of Joy-Cons and they all charge perfectly. Each slot has its own status LED that glows red when charging and turns green when fully charged. I only have one charging station next to my dock that connects to one of the USB ports on the side of the dock. Couldn't be easier.

What I like: I've had this product for a while and it works as expected. The indicators turn green when loading and red when loading. I also like that it uses a USB connector so I can just plug it into my Switch, but if I wanted to plug it into the wall I could just plug it into the adapter. Because of this, I can use it in multiple areas when all my USB ports are busy.
