So far this docking station works perfectly. I like it a lot more than the one with the all metal frame. The performance specifications at the bottom are somewhat misleading. I would guess it would require a 3.0A power supply, which is almost unheard of and certainly not what the ports on the switch dock put out. I plugged it into a very basic USB extension port, presumably the standard 500mA one, and it charges just fine.
