Already spilled a cup of coffee on my bed in the first week, thank goodness we had the protector. Nothing soaked worked perfectly :)

Now after 1 night of use I have a huge urine stain on our son's mattress. It might as well have been an ordinary sheet as it didn't block the liquid. I am so disappointed.

Not waterproof at all. I bought it for my child who was accidentally involved in an accident. Unfortunately within the first week of use it was tested and didn't work, now I have a mattress that stinks and a cover that is completely useless. Be sure to listen to the bad reviews and skip this purchase.

I haven't even used the mattress topper and it's already torn. I received the package and put it in the wash before putting it on the bed and there is a tear in the protective layer. No dryer, only washing machine. Something you need if it ever gets wet and breaks. Useless.

I haven't spilled anything on it so can't comment on how well it protects the mattress. But in terms of quality, it looks and feels the best of the many mattress pads I own. It's nice to sleep directly on it with a nice bamboo feel or put sheets on it and the bed doesn't get hot. Highly recommended. Another high quality product from RevainBasics.

Bought when I bought a new mattress, dealer recommended. Because it is supposed to help with the "cooling factor”. Ha! NO! I have my air conditioner in the morgue and I'm still sweating with that mattress pad. I've used many of these over the years and the only time it's been this bad has only been on vinyl. It seems to hold the mattress securely, but it does get hot. Wouldn't recommend at all!

I bought this mattress pad for our king bed as we needed to replace an existing one (after paying loads of dollars at the mattress store when we got our TemPurpedic) and I have to say that this mattress pad very similar to the mattress we bought with the mattress but at a fraction of the cost. I had no expectations when I bought this but am happy with the product. It wraps easily around my 12 inch mattress and has room for an extra inch or two if I want to add more padding to my mattress. While there's plenty of material to wrap around and under the mattress, the top stays nice and flat. It feels soft but isn't too plush.
