Incredible price for a well thought out product. Take the time to read the instructions first. It's very easy to forget which side the grip is on and you end up with a grip that doesn't work as it should. I would remove the handle right before installing to avoid this problem. It was fun to install. I have never made a door knob but my friend who is very skilled and capable has made dozens of them. We, as well as the other reviewers, were completely taken aback by the lack of the "rose" part on the handle. The instructions don't mention that you have to use a small black wire wrench to push the hole in the base of the handle to free it so you can put the rose on.
