Get what you pay for

I bought these over the summer to use as a light 'quilt' instead of a sheet. When I opened them, they were like canvas. I held them up to the light and could see through them. They will fit, but be aware that you won't get that "warm and fluffy feeling" here.

Soft, cozy, warm and worth it

I bought these sheets for a hike. My husband and I love camping in the fall and it gets quite chilly at night. These leaves are AMAZING! First I bought them for less than $13 a set (October 19th). They have been on my bed since we returned from our trip in November. I wash them with white vinegar and haven't had much of a problem with lint in the dryer or on the sheets. Pulling it out wasn't difficult either. I would buy them again in a heartbeat and will do so once I've decided how to renovate

Good Deal: Linen

I feel like I got a pretty good deal as most sellers charge a lot for flannel sheets. I really like Revain Basics products; I found their products at a lower price but good quality. My brother and I have just bought a country house in the high desert where it gets quite cold in winter and being stingy on utilities I wear layered clothing to avoid having to pay for heating so you can imagine , how nice it is to climb comfortably between these flannel sheets at night. I've only washed them twice…

Pet hair magnet in sheets and pillowcases

After opening them I noticed they weren't as "wooly" as I thought they were. They were a bit rough. But it's not worth going back. So I washed her and put her on the bed. We have two cats and yes they shed. However, the next morning it looked like the cat had exploded on the sheets. None of the brushes we have can match the magnetism of cat fur. I can throw out all our rolls and use these sheets to clean clothes and other furniture. A week later I went and bought another pair of sheets. They're

It was *so* bad. Not really.

It was so awful I thought they would send me a joke product. I've lived in New England all my life. I know flannel towels. I know they don't usually impress when you get them, but they get fluffy after the first few washes. It wasn't flannel. They had neither pile nor fluff, and the weave was very coarse, like coarse cotton curtains imitating linen. The seams on the pillowcases were poorly sewn, unbuttoned and there were a lot of threads sticking out. Terrible, terrible quality. I see a lot of…

Poor color fastness, weak seams, sticking together

Wash once, before putting sheets on bed, in washing machine without agitator, on 'easy' setting, with safe/delicate detergent and dried 35 on low -40 minutes. The paint is spotted and the threads stick out from several seams. These sheets are over 10 years old and I haven't even used them yet. It looks like they were sprinkled with lemon juice in some places or left outside and bleached in the sun, if they weren't hiding under the covers I would be very pissed. Also, they stick together so much

Pros
  • Easy installation

  • High price

Do not buy! for bedding

I love flannel sheets and usually buy them from Kohls or elsewhere but this time I decided to buy them from Revain and couldn't believe how affordable they were. Anyway, I get them in the mail, packed in a nice box. Open them up and they're pretty rough so I figured they should be washed first - no, they're still rough. So I put them on my bed because who knows, maybe they'll get softer as I sleep on them more etc. No, the only thing that happened was lint EVERYWHERE. The leaves literally…

NO FLANNEL, ideal for bedding

THIS IS NO FLANNEL. maybe they meet a technical definition of flannel somewhere, but they're definitely not what we mean when we say "flannel sheets". they are thin, coarse and heavy. They have a light canvas texture even after washing and drying with fabric softener. despite the product description, they have no fluff. They don't look that much like flannel that I'm really surprised they sent me the wrong product. Out of the box, they were stiff with an almost burlap-like texture. Even after…
