Not a hard case and too big for a 5 " GPS

This case was intended to replace the hard case for a Garmin Nuvi 1300 series 5" navigator. This case is much larger than a 5 inch GPS case. It is more suitable for 7 inch Garmin. It's also not a hard outer shell. It has a sturdy woven outer shell, but light finger pressure can compress the outer surface of the case. It doesn't take much time in the glove box or in the car with other things to compress this bag and possibly hack your GPS in it. We'll keep it because we can mitigate all of those

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Good case! About GPS, Finder and Accessories

I recently bought a Garmin 50LMT-HD (5") and needed a case so I could put it in my purse when not in use. I chose Revain Basics because I have one. I have purchased a Revain Basics camera bag in the past and it has been very good - this GPS bag was no different. The screen is scratched. There is also a separate mesh "pocket" inside. In fact, I put the GPS in my pocket and the cable to go with it in the main compartment. I'm glad I bought it (originally not too). great price and quality!

Pros
  • Nice Packaging
Cons

Good for Garmin in GPS, Finder and Accessories

I bought this Garmin carrying case in February 2017. If you fold the cable so that it doesn't touch the glass when you put it in your bag, it fits. However, just the Garmin and the included cable will do, it's too small for the suction cup that attaches to your window. Although the description says it's a hard shell case, it can still be crushed. Just be careful how you pack it. I wouldn't put it where something heavy might be on it. Other than that it's a good carrying case, it's protected myโ€ฆ

Disappointed with the quality

Very disappointed with the quality of this fabric covered box. This is not difficult at all and does not provide adequate protection for my Garmin nuvi 55LMT GPS navigator. The upside is that both cables fit into a case with GPS navigation, there is no suction cup mount (I didn't expect it) but the case is very cheaply made. I could buy a similar one from Hong Kong for half the price but I'd have to wait a month. It's not a big deal and I'll leave it at that, but I just wanted to warn othersโ€ฆ

  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Reliability

Great case for the money and size.

Arrived on time and well packed in the box. has a semi-rigid shell; soft inner material to protect the GPS; flash works; it has a compartment in the lid and a tub-like space underneath. I have a new Garmin Drive 50 that measures 5.5 x 3.5 x 1. The GPS fits snugly in the top compartment and won't fall out; Car power adapters and cords fit easily in the bottom of the tub. I have an earlier Garmin power supply that doesn't fit in the case due to its AC power pins. The suction cup is too large inโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Perfect fit for the TriField TF2 EMF meter

Looks like a snug fit for the TriField TF2 EMF meter (also available from Revain). The bag offers space for a quick guide to the measuring device and the entire operating manual in PDF format, printed and folded. These pocket items keep the meter close to your body to prevent spills when the case is closed. There is also room next to the meter for a spare 9 volt battery or two, wrapped in a small foam pad. The only odd thing about the case is the elastic straps that prevent it from opening more

  • New
