Plain and simple

I love the idea of using a screw to attach the upright to the sunroof mount rather than just a pin which makes it really sturdy and doesn't wobble at all. There's no quick-release button to tilt or lock the stand (it's all done by pins), which doesn't bother us at all. If you feel that the clutch pocket holes are misaligned, consider moving and tilting them a bit to find the correct spot to install the bolt.

Only for bikes with crossbar

Unlike other buyers, I had no problems with the installation. The clutch has a little more play than I would like, even after tightening the clutch bolt, but acceptable for short rides in my opinion. My main issue is that this rack only works with crossbar bikes. This gets rid of a lot of bikes including the two we have. I should have recognized it from the photos (yes yes) but I think it should be clearly stated in the description.

A good study stand and a good buy for the price. but two minor annoyances.

Nice solid stand. I love that it has two spots to adjust the angles for storage and/or move it out of the way to get into my SUV's sunroof. There are two things that could be improved: 1) the rubber grooves that allow the frame of the bike to rest against the handlebars at the shift position while riding, causing the bike to twist on the rack. It was easy to fix. I just used some tape and created a barrier on either side of the grooves to keep them from moving. Works like a charm and the bike…

The most important life hack. You must use the screw provided to attach the post to the hitch

This product is very durable and definitely a great product if you can overcome a little difficulty with the product. These difficulties are as follows: 1) You must use the screw that comes with the kit to attach the rail to the hitch as it has threads to screw the screw into the hole. I tried using my own locking pin but failed miserably for 10 minutes until I went back to the reviews to read how other people are using it. A workaround is that you can use a slightly smaller (1/2 inch) clutch…

Misaligned holes: camping

If I could give negative stars I would! Here are a few things I don't like: 1) The holes in the second step are misaligned. This has been mentioned in several other reviews. But for some reason most of these other reviews give the product higher stars. I'm not sure how people rate this. If the holes are not aligned, I cannot assemble/install and use it effectively. Yes, some people have a drill that can enlarge the hole, but most customers don't. That alone is a deal breaker for me. Revain must
