🧽 Large Kitchen Sink Organizer/Sponge Holder by Amazon Basics Review

Returned because it's not deep enough to hold my chopstick, the worst thing is there aren't any drain holes where dishwashers and the like would get into areas where wet items wouldn't fit. And the water trap below is too small, quickly filled with even a little something!

Works well with our products and keeps the sink clean. It is also stable and does not tip over. The biggest problem is that there are no drainage holes at the bottom. We made our own but otherwise liquid will build up from your wet sink and form mould, bacteria etc. Easy to fix with a drill or soldering iron if you have one.

Love it! Looks great on my sink and keeps things tidy. As you can see in the photo, it fits my large bottle brush, hand soap, dish soap and sponge. You can also remove the gray divider if you have other storage needs for this compartment. I also like the drainage holes; Water collects inside the holder, but you simply tip it over and all the water will flow out instantly. So far I have no complaints.

I feel so organized and involved. No more awkward spots behind the sink and no more sponges and sticks accidentally slipping down the sink. I like that I have three seats in it. I have the 'dirtiest' sponge iron, sticks etc on the right for removing dirt from dishes and then a soapy water/disinfectant washing part sponge in the middle. On the far left I have the "cleanest" counter-sponge. The tray at the bottom is great as it keeps the sink area clean and dry.

I have to say the first impression of the product was good, but unfortunately the design turned out to be a bit lacking and the material is not mold resistant… So firstly there were the section of Towel rails as well as the extra space for a water bowl just unnecessary and extra space which made it awkward for me to place the product. And then, after a week of use, mold started to grow in both the water panel and the side of the case. So… I wish it was stainless steel… I had to return it. :(

This is the only organizer that has room for my sink plug, a divider in the raised part, a narrow side that prevents the plastic scrubber from falling on the floor and that gives there is space for my soap dispenser. I drilled a 1/4" hole in the side of the tall white section to prevent water from pooling in the "tower". The bottom support wall opens into the space below where the soap bottle sits.

Glad I found this as it has improved our kitchen sink a lot; No more holder hanging from the soap dispenser or attached to the inside of the sink wall getting in the way! I was just telling my girlfriend that sometimes simple things can make such a big difference. A good example of this sink organizer. Pros: 1. Keeps my sink nice and tidy without taking up too much space.2. The simple design means this item will last and I'm not worried about missing/broken pieces being a problem, it's a two piece piece after all.
