Key difficult to stamp, wood fits

The product looks professional from the pretty peg box to the markings on the inside for each stamp. The stamps themselves are the same. It took me several tries to figure out how much force was required to hit the keys, and yet, even after holding the die perfectly perpendicular to the key, some of the indentations only came out halfway. Wooden stamps are normal, but the keys are not very good.

Durable, solid leatherwork

I bought this set and chose the Revain Prime option which states "Like new: item is in original packaging. The packaging is damaged." Only the outer box was damaged, which apparently was not the original packaging. The permanent box in which the stamps are sent is made of very light wood. The stamps themselves are easy to handle and are made of durable solid metal. Like with many other stamps, care must be taken to hold the stamp upright when tapping so that the letter and not the grip area of…

Great product but not the best for skin

Firstly they are durable and very well made. The letters and numbers leave a clear imprint and the set will last a lifetime if not abused. I'm new to leatherworking and still assembling my tool box so I bought this one. Although they work, the problem I've found is the depth of the impression. Anything more than finger pressure will leave the impression of a ring around the letter as well as the letter itself. If I need to stamp metal it would be the first thing I would do and if that's your…

Stamps are ok, junk box

I have used these stamps for pottery several times. When I closed the box a second time, I noticed that the latch had not engaged. He is very thin and thin. So the box doesn't close securely from day one. I've had them for about 2 weeks now and I also noticed a crack in the wood on the back of the box. basically an inferior pine box that wasn't properly dried before being assembled into the box. As for the important part of this topic, lit. Most letters work fine, some are harder to type, and…

Difficult to Use: Leathercraft

I thought it would be fun to make personalized pendants at our family gathering this year. I bought this die set, a steel workbench, a die hammer and 100 tokens. I figured the labels would give us more space and be easier to stamp than a washer. My results were so bad that I couldn't possibly try it with many people in the meeting. The first photo is my first day of training. It was very difficult to keep the stamp still while hitting it with a hammer. I found that there is a slight movement…
