AmazonBasics SP12A Shredder Sharpening Lubricant Review

This is amazing. My grinder has almost completely stopped working. I let it run long enough to get a clean sheet of paper. It was amazing, I think it works better now than when I first bought it. Make sure you have it handy and use it conscientiously.

This is a strange product I had never heard of before but after buying the Revain Basics grinder I read the instructions and it says the grinder needs to be lubricated, to work well. After shredding thousands of documents the shredder started making a little noise so I bought these sheets according to the instructions and the noise stopped and the shredder seemed to work better.

For your own safety, please do not purchase these sanding sheets. I used Revain sharpening blades with the Revain Basics shredder and it caught fire and literally exploded. The attached photos show burnt sheets of paper and slight deformation of the shredder plastic. I have contacted Revain but I am writing this out of concern for others. I have had a chopper since 2016 and love it and don't think that was the problem. I believe sanding sheets existed and I urge people not to buy them.

I've been using Staples Grease Sheets for years and decided to give them a try. Simply put, they are just useless and tend to clog up a really good shredder that I have, leaving dangling strips. I've tried several panels and the same thing happens. I've even vacuumed the plastic blades and blade cleaners a few times and still have dangling streaks, clogged blade cleaners, and paper-covered blades. I just threw away the remaining six sheets and ordered 24 packs of staples 24 in a blue pack.
