These are perfect for our 23 gallon waste bins. I like them because I can throw away leftover ingredients while I'm cooking in the kitchen without having to constantly step on the bin pedal. They swing well and close when dirt doesn't pass through them. Banks are ideal. Since this is a generic Revain, they are actually very high quality. There's no reason not to order a kit.

Lots of plastic molding left. I had to cut it off and even then the edges were abrasive or sharp. It wasn't the same quality as the can it was intended for. (Same trademark from Amazon.) The color goes well with the 23 gallon can it is intended for and the material is strong and durable I would say. The best thing about this lid is the plastic. It is of high quality and constructed to withstand commercial or restaurant use without falling apart. This is a very simple device and the doors are balanced to return when pushed down. There are no springs or mechanisms to break. The valves are simply plugged into the lid and can be easily removed if necessary. They fit perfectly in a matching 23 gallon narrow trash can. I love the jars that come with them but these lids are terrible. First I ordered two and received one. the top of the lid. You have to rely on the doors to drop down and no one wants to touch the top of the bin. It's not the nice soft flexible plastic that a suitable basket is made of, it's hard, brittle and poorly made. I ended up removing the flaps (easy to do as they just fit into the notches below) and used the rim to better hold the bag in the jar, but it's an expensive bag holder.
